So, before I specify every single point into a category,
Let me share with all of you the biggest effect of racism happened in our country a long time ago...
And I know...
Without mention that tragedy, every people already know it....

THE MAY 13TH TRAGEDY

Okay...Let me explain to you...what is the May 13th tragedy actually..
The May 13 Incident is a term for the Sino-Malay sectarian violences in Kuala Lumpur, which began on May 13, 1969. The riots led to a declaration of a state of national emergency and suspension of Parliament by the Malaysian government, while the National Operations Council (NOC or Majlis Gerakan Negara, MAGERAN) was established to temporarily govern the country between 1969 and 1971.

Officially, 196 people were killed between May 13 and July 31 as a result of the riots, although journalists and other observers have stated much higher figures. Other reports at the time suggest over 2,000 were killed by rioters, police and Malaysian Army rangers, mainly in Kuala Lumpur. Many of the dead were quickly buried in unmarked graves in the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital grounds by soldiers of Malaysian Engineers.( Source : Wikipedia )

Huhuu...you see! In less than 3 months, 196 lives were lost...such a huge numbers!
So, to all readers and followers..
If this spirit of racism continues, it is possible this incident will be repeated...

Parents can prevent racism...??

Hi everyone...
I'm back..okay today I want to share something that can help to prevent racism.

~PARENTS~

Do you realize that parents cant be a good role model to prevent racism..???

HOW...??

Parents should commerce a good relationship between neighbours eventough they are from different race. For example. Visiting the neighbours when festive season arrive or when they are sick. This condition can make a relationship in a better order within the races. This positive action could be an informal lesson to the children. With that, they will be know each other to not to be a prejudice.

Okay, that all for tis time..

PETALING JAYA: gangsterism reared its ugly head in University Putra Malaysia when about 50 :pro-establishment" students took the law into their own hands and manhandled seven students who are members of an organisation perceived to be "anti-establishment" last Monday (July 17, 2006).

a video clip obtained by the Sun showed the large group surrounding and pushing about six members of teh UPM Student Progressive Front ( SPT) in the campus canteen.

giving an account of an incident to the Sun today, third-year Chinese Studies student Lim Sok Swan said she and six other friends were manning a help counter for new students when the incidents started.

Lim said a group of about 50 students lead by a student council leader suddenly surrounded and scolded them for setting up the the help counter when the SPF is not a registered body.

" They demanded we leave within 10 minutes, saying we are not allowed to be there to disturb students".

" We replied that we were just just helping students welfare and denied disturbing anyone as it was in acanteen that is open to everyone" she said.

" We had done nothing wrong, so we declined to leave. They then pushed us away and removes our tables, chairs and flyers." She added.

She alleged that the campus securitu officers who were presents did not offer any help and merely watched.

" I was ver scared", Lim said, adding she called the police as  she felt the tension was escalating.

" They only stopped harrasing us when police arrived," she added.

Another students said she was pushed and fell on the floor when trying to take some of photographs of what was happening.

The student who said her camera broke when it fell lodged a police report at the Sri Serdang police station.

" A similar incident took place on July 11 2006 where a group of "pro-establishment" students tore up our materials at the help desk", she added.

Meanwhile, Suaram coordinator, Chang Lih Kang urged the Higher Education Ministry, the police and UPM's authorities to investigate and take action against the culprits.

" Its a crime to intimidate someone," he said adding that at least 15 police reports have been lodged over the incident.

He said investigations revealed that the incident arose as a result of a misunderstanding over an event organise by the students.

He said apart from some pushing and jostling among the students at the time of the incident, no one was reported to have been assaulted.

Mohd Fuad said police have spoken to UPM officials and have left the matter to be resolved internally.

" But our officers will continue monitoring the situation to avoid any untoward in future,' he said.

UPM vice chancellor prog Dr Nik Mustapha R. Abdullah and deputy  vice chancellor could not be reached for comment today.

AN IDEOLOGY ABOUT RACISM....IDEA OR IDEOLOGY?????

As an ideology, racism existed during 19th century as "scientific Racism" which attempted to provide a racial calssification. for me, such racist ideologist have been widely discredited sfter World War II and the Holoucast, racism and of racial discrimination have remained discrimination widespread all over the world.

Not only that, CULTURE means  something that created by ethnic groups. Because of too much ethnic group in the world especially Malysia, I can say thats why all culture in the world is different and all culture have their own ethnocentrisme.

Racism occur when some ethnic really scared about their ethnic will abolished with other ethnic. All of them think that they are better than others. In Malaysia, too much love into their race based on themself. Eventhough racism in our country is not worse than other country such as Africa and India, its still happening. For example, our politic party. MIC, MCA and UMNO just based on one race - Chinese, Indian and Malay. Yes I know that thats nice to hear but thats only in logically but practically it is not guys!...

This kind of race based politic party will only focus in certain race until other races will fought to see who are the best. This is the root towards all of the problems.

WHY dont they be a superior race by gathering all races in one main party?????
Is it that tough??
THEY always about GAGASAN 1 MALAYSIA...
But I didnt see anything that bring positive values on this such thing such as gagasan...
Only in the name..but the steps???????
hhahahaha..quite funny here guys...no!!!i did not mean that i hate this gagasan. but i want to tell that this kind of thing wiil not work without continues steps..
Right guys?????
I always support my country but without any racist feeling
!!!!!
:)

One voice can make a difference, A million can change the world

Hi, everyone..
Ermm.....
Okay..okay...i know...research question..(sigh~)
But before we go through to our research question..
I have made ' a little research' on this issue..hehe..
he he he..just some interviews with a few people..
As it is something that related to race, so i have interviewed three respondents representing

the three major races in our country.
Okay, everyone..these are the youth opinion..

Nurul Ashirah, a Ph.d student from the National University of Malaysia.

Nurul Ashirah, 30:

"Talking about racism in our country is not a brand new issue. it has already occurred since this country achieved independent. In my opinion, this spirit has been planted in everyone heart since they were a children. So, I think parents is the major factor. Parents always tell to their children that their race is the best among others. This belief called ethnocentrism..
So, when they grow up, they will bring this sentiment to community and born a lot of racist just like them..
For me, we live in the plural community should realize that there is no good to become a racist because every single of us are very important in developing this country. We need each other, so we have to work together as a team to build our nation. That's all!~"

This is Jeya Kumar, my friend since 2003.

Jeya Kumar, 19:

"I hate racism!! That's all!" Luckily I am a Malaysian.
Although there is still have some kind of discrimination here and there but it is still under control...
Only certain places people behave like this, especially in rural area because people in that area are not exposed to the knowledge about the effects of being racist to the unity in our country.
Hmm...Untill now, I still don't get it why people being a racist because we have already achieved independence for more than 50 years. That's mean we have live togethet as a plural society for more than 50 years!! We are one! All of us are same....human..so, why do treat other people like animals right??
I hope I can make them understand that being racist does not provide any benefits..surely..(sigh~)
Racism should be destroyed in everyone's mind because it is hurt!
I just tell what I feel...huhuhu.."

And this is Azfar Hadi Lim. He is a chinese..my best friend since form 1.

Azfar Hadi Lim, 20:

"Hmm..Racism...hey hey..why do you suddenly asking this controversial question??
By the way, this is my simple answer..
For me, Malaysia is one of the country that full with racist...Their mind are still colonized..
And I'm not blaming our people 100% because either we realize or not since we were young, we have been taught either directly or indirectly to become a racist...
learning in school, from parents, entertainments..mostly have a strong racial elements..
During the British colonial period, They divide us ( Chinese, Indian, Malay ) by the ISOLATION RULES..
Why they do so??
Because they don't want us to be unite..Actually they have seen the strength if we unite..but untill now people outside there still not realize especially racists...so poor..."

Ezuan : Hmm... :) So, to all readers..I have brought three representative exclusively to this blog..Special for all of you..I hope all of you will get some benefits from the opinion of the youth of the nation.

factor again..???political also factor right..

hi guy's...=)

like normal, i'm come back to you and of course, i also bring with me some more factor that can create a RACIST...!!!!!!

let's me share with all of you, the MAIN factor that can EXIST a RACIST in political view...

as we know, colonialism make a biggest effect to political system in our country...like i share in the last posting ( factor ), the LAW of BREAK and RULES are the main issue in this case..British government already introduce and teach all of citizen in Malaya to live and make a relation with their race only...!!!!i repeat, in their RACE only...!!!!!!

but WHY...????!!!!!

British know, if all of citizen in Malaya combine their power and spirit to be the INDEPENDENT COUNTRY, them also can DEFEATED...!!!!!!for SURE....!!!!so, if them just ignore about this case, it's can make a BIGGEST effect to their POWER and INFLUENCE in Asia...

So, to make sure their power still maintain, the British government create a political party base on RACE...!!!!!only in this way that them can be there in a long time,MORE THAN BEFORE...!!!!

effect of this plan, majority of us still have a bad impression to another race just base on NOTHING...!!!!!because of NOTHING...NO POINT...!!!!!isn't it...???!!!!!

that is the one of SUPREME SUCCESS for the British government...!!!!!beginning from this plan, the problem between race in Malaysia still happen and continue until NOW...!!!!!

how to solve it..???let THINK TOGETHER...if all of you need, or want to see the harmony and peaceful situation can be permanently happen...if not...i don't know...

see you later...

save our COUNTRY....say no to RACISM....!!!!!

Can Racism Be Solved..??

Hello guys, I want to share something with you all today. Every single diseases have the antidote so do racism. I think racism can be dealt with by several measures and strategies:

Malaysian consist a lot of races. Therefore to  make sure all the race have same rights, government must put strong laws to guarantee equal opportunity and overall equity as a fundamental part of their constitution and democracy. As we know, Malaysia is a free country, so civil right group must put aside their various different and collectively advocate for the creation of the relevant law along with the appropriate administrative agencies to stamp out all form of bigotry.

Other than that, education system can be effective role to ensure the security of a country that has a variety of ethnic and racial groups. People must be educated about prejudice and discrimination. Education system can become an agent for socialization and personality foster awareness among the people with the countries involved. Education goes through a country that can produce unity and understanding between ethnic and racial groups. Racist attitudes and thinking among students can be erased and eliminated with an effective education. So there have no more prejudice between students.
Activities in school must involve all the student that consist difference ethnic such as football competition. With that activity, they can work together without prejudice at each other to win the competition and the there have no more racism attitude among them.

A large number of political parties based on ethnic groups struggle for the interests of each must be brought together into a larger political ties. Formation of this mixed political fun in the process of formation of a government that united the nation. Each problem arising in various ethnic groups can be carried discuss. This mixture can search for political solutions in the event of a conflict situation.

Okay, I think I will stop here for today and I will continue about this next time.
